Fjordwine, of the Gildervault realm, is a playful sky-dragon famous for his outrageous mid-flight drinking performances. Rather than simply finishing a drink normally, he pours his latest beverage into the air while soaring overhead, twisting and diving through the sky as he tries to drink every last drop before it splashes onto the towns, ships, and unlucky spectators below. Crowds gather wherever he appears, cheering as he performs increasingly reckless aerial maneuvers for applause—and, more importantly, free refills.

 

Though dramatic and hopelessly showy, Fjordwine is beloved by tavern-goers and sailors alike. Mead is his greatest weakness, and after a few mugs he becomes determined to invent new stunts no dragon has ever attempted before. Most end in laughter, spilled drink, and at least one damaged rooftop, but Fjordwine always insists it was “part of the act.”
