Hopper is a mischievous little dragon from the stormy realm of Thunderwake who has mastered the art of getting free drinks without ever ordering one himself. Tiny enough to fit inside a tankard, Hopper spends his nights leaping (i.e. hopping) directly into unattended ales, cocktails, and mugs of mead, happily splashing around until the horrified owner gives up the drink entirely. Unlike most dragons, Hopper doesn’t actually drink – his strange magical body absorbs alcohol like a sponge. The stronger the beverage, the more energetic and chaotic he becomes, bouncing from table to table with lightning-fast excitement. Tavern-goers may groan when they spot him near their drink, but many secretly find him impossible to stay mad at – especially when he curls up inside the mug afterward like a sleepy little gold-scaled cat.
