Cinderchug is a fire-bellied tavern dragon infamous for treating every drink like a life-or-death challenge. Unable to sip anything normally, he superheats his ale with his own flames before chugging it in massive gulps, usually covering himself, the floor, and nearby patrons in sizzling foam. Tavern owners hate him, but crowds gather anytime he enters a pub, eager to witness another one of his reckless “inferno chugs.”

Legend says Cinderchug once drank an entire barrel of molten dwarven stout without passing out—a feat no dragon has ever repeated. Ever since, he’s traveled from tavern to tavern searching for stronger brews capable of “fighting back.” Unfortunately, the hotter the drink, the more competitive he becomes, and many legendary drinking contests have ended with scorched ceilings, cracked mugs, and Cinderchug passed out snoring in a puddle of spilled ale.
